Most glitch plugins draw pixel-shift effects on top of your video using GPU shaders. They look like Codec Decay. They are not Codec Decay. Pixelmash manipulates compressed video data itself — targeting the keyframes and delta frames your codec uses to reconstruct video. The same kind of artifact you'd get opening a video in a hex editor and starting to cut.
Extract motion vectors from any clip and inject them into any other. The rhythm of a crowd gets applied to a portrait. A cityscape moves with the ocean. Style Transfer is unique to Codec Decaying — it's impossible with GPU shaders because there are no real motion vectors to steal.

Drag the Pixelmash FxPlug effect onto any clip in Final Cut Pro or Motion. Click "Open Pixelmash" in the Inspector. The full app launches with your clip already loaded. Choose your mode, preview the result, then process for a full-quality render. Drag the output back to your timeline. Your original clip stays untouched.
